A new restaurant is coming to the Ways Station Shopping Center in the heart of Richmond Hill.
Papaya Thai Cuisine and Sushi Bar will open their third location at 2457 Highway 17 in Richmond Hill, just south of the famous Ford Ave / Coastal Highway intersection. This is where Bubba’s Bistro was formerly located.
Papaya offers traditional thai entrees such as pad thai, pad kee mao, nam tok, and thai curry, as well as american-thai fusion dishes like seafood, chops, and duck. They also feature over 40 different sushi options, sashimi, tatake, and even a children’s menu!
Khaykham Dillon, or “Miss Tee” to the regulars, owns the Papaya location in Pooler and soon to be Richmond Hill. There’s also another location in Beaufort, SC.
The location in Pooler has 4.6 stars out of a possible 5.0, according to Facebook, with one patron saying, “Delicious large portion meals, even with picky kids they found something delicious to eat off the adult menu. Staff was very friendly and attentive to the patrons. The restaurant is also decorated beautifully and homey. We will most definitely be coming back!”
According to management, they hope to have the Richmond Hill location open at the beginning of September 2019.
