Two meteor showers will battle it out over the skies of Richmond Hill Monday night. Starting at dusk and ending in the early morning hours of Tuesday: The southern Delta Aquarids and the Alpha Capricornids could shoot up to 25 meteors per hour. These showers will be visible to the naked eye, as long as clouds do not obstruct the view.
Partly cloudy skies have been forecasted for Richmond Hill, with a low of 69. Even if the clouds do make the meteor showers harder to see, at least you can enjoy the weather – a nice contrast from the 91 degree high during the day.
It’s always best to get as far away from any light source in order to maximize the ability to see the meteors in all their glory.
