One of the most anticipated offerings to Richmond Hill since the city-offered farmers market at J.F. Gregory Park closed for the 2018 season and never reopened – a farmers market is coming to Richmond Hill!
Christine Bashlor of Magnolia Manor has been hard at work for the last several months putting all of the pieces together to create a successful privately-run farmers market outside of the long-standing senior living facility.
Located at 141 Timber Trail, at the intersection of Ford Ave, this will be a rain or shine event occurring on the 3rd Saturday of each month between 9 am and 1 pm. The inaugural event will kick off Saturday, May 18th.
The full vendor list is still being organized but will include: fresh vegetables and fruits, plants, honey, boiled peanuts, spices, eggs and lots of other similar items. At this time, they are only accepting vendors that offer handcrafted items such as produce, food, lotions, and soaps.
Ample parking will be provided in the Magnolia Manor lot. Please be careful of heavier-than-usual foot traffic in the area on that day.
Any questions can be answered by calling Magnolia Manor at 912-756-4300 and asking for Christine Bashlor in the activities department.
A big thank you to Christine for organizing this much-asked-for event as well as Magnolia Manor for their gracious hospitality. Community outreach events like this are what make Richmond Hill great!
